Jacek Gdański

Jacek Gdański is a graduate of the University of Gdańsk, Lech Kaczyński National School of Public Administration, and the Warsaw School of Economics, where he completed a postgraduate course in Risk Management at Financial Institutions. He has many years of experience in financial management at public organizations and in financial reporting, auditing and risk management. Mr. Gdański is a statutory auditor and a long-serving member of supervisory boards and audit committees of supervised entities (including Nordea PTE, PKO BP, PKO Życie, PKO TU, Nestbank). He is also a member of the Audit Supervision Authority.

From November 2016 to August 2019, Jacek Gdański was Vice-President of the Management Board and CFO at Polski Gaz Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń Wzajemnych. In 2013–2016, he worked as Deputy President of the Management Board for the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, and in 2010–2012, he was Director of the International Cooperation Department and Head of the Secretariat of the ISSA European Network at the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS). In 2008–2009, he served as Vice-President of the Management Board for Finance at PKO Inwestycje.
