Polski Holding Nieruchomości S.A. and Hillwood Polska Sp. z o.o. concluded a multi-year agreement on the construction and subsequent lease of warehouse and office area located in Hillwood & PHN Pruszków with DPD Polska Sp. z o.o. – a recognized provider of courier services.
Under the agreement, PHN and Hillwood Polska will construct for DPD Polska a building offering ca. 11,600 sq.m. of warehouse area and ca. 2,600 of office area, with the possibility of further expansion by 4,000 sq.m. The facility will be centered around a state-of-the-art sorting machine to which the building will be adjusted. DPD Polska is to start operating in the new facility at the end of 2018.
“We are starting the construction of the next stage of the Hillwood & PHN Pruszków warehouse project for which we have acquired a prestigious tenant – DPD Polska. The new tenant has signed a multi-year agreement for renting an area of over 14,000 sq.m. I would like to remind you that the construction of stage 1 of the project (a building with an area of 14,500 sq.m.) was completed last year, and it reached an occupancy rate of ca. 85%,” said Maciej Jankiewicz, President of the Management Board of Polski Holding Nieruchomości S.A.
Ultimately, the Hillwood & PHN Pruszków project will include 4 buildings with a total area of ca. 56,000 sq.m. situated on 17 hectares of land. The warehouse project has an excellent location – in Parzniew, 3 km from the “Pruszków” junction (A2 motorway) and 20 km from Warsaw’s city center. The project provides an excellent access to the country’s main transport routes: the A2 motorway combining Warsaw, Poznań and Berlin. It also offers good access to Warsaw’s ring road – S8/S2. A railway station on the Warsaw–Grodzisk line is located close by, and Warsaw Chopin Airport is just 15 km away.
