Already in March this year,Polski Holding Nieruchomości S.A. launched an aid program for tenants struggling with financial problems caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.Since the beginning of the pandemic, the total value of aid provided to tenants of facilities belonging to the PHN Group has reached almost PLN 2 million.
Various forms of support provided so far by the PHN Group have been used mainly by entrepreneurs from the catering, retail, healthcare and education industries, as well as other tenants of office space.
“We understand the problems of our tenants.We are fully aware that for many companies, rent is one of the highest cost items, which in the event of losing a significant part of revenue quickly reduces financial liquidity.We approach each case individually, taking into consideration the long-term relationships that we want to develop with our partners, as well as the well-being of our shareholders,” said Marcin Mazurek, President of the Management Board of Polski Holding Nieruchomości S.A.
Tenants of facilities belonging to the PHN Group who have got into financial trouble due to the pandemic can count on such measures as deferring rent payments, rental vacation combined with extending the rental period, or temporary remission of rent.
“The measures taken show how much we care about building long-term and mutually beneficial relations with our tenants.We have to get through this difficult period together.We hope that after the New Year, when the vaccine appears and the economy gets back on track, the situation of many industries will significantly improve, and we will start operating in the conditions of a developing economy again,” added Marcin Mazurek.
