Polski Holding Nieruchomości has finished renovation works thoroughly refurbishing the Kossakowski Palace in Warsaw. Among others, the renovation works of the PHN-owned palace located on the representative Nowy Świat Street in Warsaw included renovation of the elevation and replacement of roof coverings. Thanks to the works carried out under supervision of the building conservation officer, the tenement house has regained its look from the 1920s.

The scope of activities included works aimed at improving the aesthetics and technical condition of the tenement house. Sheet metal elements and roof coverings were replaced, and the elevation was painted in the old white color, referring to the appearance of the tenement house from the beginning of the last century. The balconies and metal elements such as grates, balustrades, gates and lighting lamps were also renovated.

All works were carried out with the utmost care of historical details and with the use of the latest technology solutions. Next year, PHN is also planning to restore the cartouche of the coat of arms of the Kossakowski family.

“We are very happy that we have managed to renovate this beautiful palace in such a representative location in Warsaw. In a city like Warsaw, it is especially important to preserve and restore the historical structure of the city. The restoration of the Kossakowski Palace shows how much importance our company attaches to maintaining historical buildings that are part of our portfolio,” said Tomasz Sztonyk, Member of the Management Board for Managing Property Assets, Polski Holding Nieruchomości.
