SKYSAWA has earned a nomination in the international BREEAM Awards 2022 competition in the “Regional Award Central and Eastern Europe” category. In 2020, the lower part of the SKYSAWA complex competed for the same award. This year’s winners will be announced at a gala to be held in London on 22 March.
The BREEAM Awards competition is organized by the international certification body Building Research Establishment (BRE) Global. The main goal of the competition is to recognize projects that set new standards in the area of environmentally friendly solutions and sustainable construction.
The BREEAM nomination clearly shows that SKYSAWA ranks among the most modern and sustainable buildings not only in Poland, but across Central and Eastern Europe. The fact that we’ve been included in this prestigious group again reinforces our belief that we’ve successfully created a unique place on Warsaw’s office market – stresses Marcin Mazurek, President of the Management Board at Polski Holding Nieruchomości.
On the one hand, the BREEAM Awards 2022 nomination is best evidence that the building meets the technical and design criteria necessary to be classified as sustainable. On the other, it recognizes the accomplishments and contribution to the development of green building industry by all those involved – says Natalia Kwiecińska, Senior Sustainability Advisor at Gleeds Polska.
SKYSAWA is a flagship project of Polski Holding Nieruchomości. The key asset of the project is its excellent location — in the very center of the capital, right by Rondo ONZ. SKYSAWA is one of Warsaw’s few buildings with a direct connection to a metro station. The construction of the 155-meter tower is scheduled to be completed in Q4 2022. At the end of January this year, the entire complex was leased by PKO Bank Polski.
Other nominees shortlisted in the “Regional Award Central and Eastern Europe” category of the international BREEAM Awards 2022 include V.Offices in Cracow, and M1 shopping centers in Łódź and Poznań.
