Elżbieta Buczek is an attorney, partner in the law firm Dubois & Partners, where she heads the administrative and tax law department. She represents clients in administrative proceedings, including reprivatisation proceedings, cases involving, among others, construction law, hotel law and EU funds, as well as in tax and penal-fiscal proceedings, and civil proceedings, including compensation proceedings. She has participated in legislative works, among others on the draft reprivatisation bill. Her experience has been shaped not only by legal practice but also by academic pursuits, as a lecturer in administrative law and municipal law at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. She has conducted training for public entities and post-secondary schools. She is a lecturer in administrative, judicial-administrative and tax law in the attorney training program at the Warsaw Bar Association. She is the author of publications on legal topics and a co-author of a commentary on the decree on property ownership and land use in the city of Warsaw, as well as a commentary on the law on the medical and dental professions. She also serves as the Deputy Disciplinary Spokesman of the Warsaw Bar Association and is a member of the Foundation’s Council dealing with hospice care. She graduated with honors from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw, as well as with honors from the Faculty of Polish Studies at the University of Rzeszów.
