PHN completes an important stage of construction of the second phase of the Olimpijczyk Estate project in Łódź, Poland

Wednesday, June 19, 2024 - 15:30

A symbolic topping out ceremony has just taken place on top of one of the two buildings of the Olimpijczyk Estate project located in the western part of Łódź, signifying that the construction work stage has been completed. Of the 132 apartments offered as part of the second stage of this project, almost 40% have already found their owners47 development contracts and four reservation agreements have been signed.

The Olimpijczyk Estate is an intimate PHN investment located in Łódź’s Polesie district at Kusocińskiego Street. The second stage of this project includes two six-storey residential buildings with a simple and elegant design, with detached garages and outdoor parking spaces. The second stage of this project will deliver 132 apartments to the market, with an average area of 60 sqm. Ground-floor apartments will have their own gardens, while the ones on upper floors will feature loggias and balconies. The development includes the creation of a playground and recreation area, as well as a space for bicycles.

The Olimpijczyk Estate has great transport connections – it is located approximately 6 km from the centre of Łódź, in a quiet neighbourhood surrounded by greenery. Right next to the estate, there is the largest historic park in Łódź named after Marshal Józef Piłsudski, with a botanical garden, the Łódź Zoo and a water park. Aside from the green areas, there is a broad selection of shops, including a shopping centre, as well as services, restaurants and fitness clubs.

“The symbolic topping out ceremony held on top of one of the buildings means that work on the second stage of the Olimpijczyk Estate project is entering a decisive phase. Soon, new residents will be able to enjoy the charms of their own apartments. Currently, the PHN Group is developing five residential projects that will deliver more than 750 apartments to the market in Warsaw, Wrocław, Łódź and Cracow. More residential projects are in the pipeline, among others in Warsaw and Bydgoszcz,” said Jacek Krawczykowski, Vice President of the Management for Investments of Polski Holding Nieruchomości.

“The long-standing cooperation with Polski Holding Nieruchomości is a great opportunity for us to further develop and expand our portfolio. Maintaining good relations with a major player in the real estate market also proves the effectiveness and professionalism of Unibep. It is worth recalling that for this investor we are currently implementing the KOLEJ NA 19 residential project in Warsaw, and earlier we built the representative office building Domaniewska Office Hub in the capital and the first stage of the Olimpijczyk Estate in Łódź,” said Leszek Gołąbiecki, Vice President and Director of Construction of Unibep SA. “We always carefully analyse our client’s needs, adapt to their expectations and deadlines, and ensure the highest quality of work.”

The project implementation is proceeding according to the schedule. The construction is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2025, and the handover of apartments to new buyers will begin from June 2025. Currently, installation and finishing work is underway in the buildings, and the detached garages are being built. Work is also underway on land development around the estate. It is worth noting that a pedestrian crossing is being prepared across Kusocińskiego Street near the entrance to the estate, which will improve communication for residents and neighbours of the project.
