The second edition of Charity Regatta PHN-GDYNIA VIP RACING 2017 will take place on July 7–9 on Balt 23 cabin sailing yachts.28 teams will participate.The event is traditionally combined with a charity action in which each team will make a donation to the “Bursztynowa Przystań” Children’s Hospice in Gdynia.
PHN-GDYNIA VIP RACING 2017 regatta is a sports competition, a great fun and an event which promotes PHN’s unique (in both Poland and Europe) development project – Yacht Park. The project offers 135 unique apartments situated in six 5-storey buildings which will occupy an area of 6,000 sq.m. Yacht Park’s uniqueness will be complemented by a modern marina inspired by the best yacht ports in the world. It will feature 120 places and professional facilities adjusted to the needs of even the most demanding sailors. A luxurious residential complex with a modern marina and a promenade with boutiques and restaurants will be a great place to live.
The regatta will take place on July 8 in Zatoka Gdańska, and teams will be divided into four groups by means of a draw. It will be overseen by an experienced referee. PHN-GDYNIA VIP RACING 2017 event is under the honorary patronage of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Construction, honorary patronage of the President of Gdynia and the patronage of Pomorski Związek Żeglarski (Pomeranian Sailing Association). The regatta is sponsored by: Chopin Airport Development, LOTOS Group, MARVIPOL, and Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo. Moreover, PHN has acquired the following partners with an established market position to support the organization of the event: Hotel Courtyard by Marriott Gdynia Waterfront, importer of Land Rover cars, D.A.D. (producer of personalized sailing clothing), Wine Taste by Kamecki, and OSHEE – leader of the isotonic drinks market in Poland. Zbigniew Gutkowski – the first Pole ever to take part in the round-the-world races VELUX 5 Oceans Race and Vendée Globe – will be the event’s special guest. During the charity regatta, Mr. Gutkowski’s IMOCA Open 60 yacht will be moored in the President’s Pool in Gdynia. The event will also be attended by Tomasz Cichocki, legendary Polish ocean sailor who has sailed alone around the world.

Wawrzyńca. The money will help to provide proper care to the children in the hospice.
