MARINA OFFICE OBTAINS THE CONSTRUCTION PERMIT

Tuesday, November 5, 2019 - 15:09

We already have the final permit for the construction of Marina Office. The construction of the state-of-the-art office complex located in the seaside part of Gdynia is planned to commence in Q1 2020. Polski Holding Nieruchomości is the investor of the project.

Marina Office will consist of three independent 5-storey office buildings with a total leasable area of ca. 27,000 sq.m. Nearly 24,000 sq.m. of modern office space will be built on 4 storeys and more than 3,000 sq.m. of retail space on the ground floors, where restaurants, cafés and other service facilities will be located. The underground area of the buildings will have a car park with 241 parking spaces and 15 electric car charging stations. The buildings will be separated by a generally accessible patio — both tenants and residents of Gdynia will be able to use it.

“We are starting more office projects. SKYSAWA remains our largest project in development, but this is not the end of our investment plans for this year. We have just received a construction permit for Marina Office in Gdynia, and we are planning to select a general contractor this year. The turn of 2019 and 2020 is the time when we intend to start our next two office projects in Warsaw — INTRACO Prime and the office building at al. Prymasa Tysiąclecia 83. Our four commercial projects will be in progress already in spring next year,” added Marcin Mazurek, President of the Management Board of Polski Holding Nieruchomości S.A.

A distinguishing architectural feature of Marina Office will be a generally accessible public square situated in front of the complex. It will be complemented by landscaping, including greenery, benches, fountains and lanterns. Several areas will be built as part of the square, including leisure zone, area for active relax in summer and ice rink in winter. On weekends, it will be possible to organize vegetable and healthy food markets or Christmas fairs, as well as — thanks to the planned stage — mass events and concerts.

Future tenants of Marina Office will be able to travel around the city using buses and trolley buses stopping next to the building. A walk to Skwer Kościuszki takes 10 minutes, and Gdynia Central Station will be reachable on foot within 20 minutes. The Lech Wałęsa Airport in Gdańsk can be reached by car in about 30 minutes. The buildings will also include parking for bicycles. The Marina Office complex has been designed according to the latest trends and will have a BREEAM certificate with a “Very Good” rating.
