The afternoon of June 24 this year saw the official opening of a modern marina — Marina Yacht Park. The ribbon was symbolically cut by Wojciech Szczurek, President of the City of Gdynia, on behalf of the local authorities, and Marcin Mazurek, President of the Management Board of Polski Holding Nieruchomości S.A., on behalf of the investor.
Marina Yacht Park is a modern marina, which made the Polish coast of the Baltic Sea even more attractive this sailing season. The port has 120 units with access to water and electricity. The surface part of the Marina has been opened at the end of April, which is when the first sailors arrived there. At the same time, the construction of a modern and functional harbor master’s office was being continued. Building works were completed at the end of June and the investment has obtained the final occupancy permit.
The harbor master’s office offers a state-of-the-art management system and functional facilities. The buildings include social facilities, bathrooms, toilets, laundry room, boatswain’s room, forecastle, and a room for training and meetings. Marina Yacht Park will provide services related to the needs of shipowners, e.g. those of a mechanic, sail maker and boat builder.
“Marina Yacht Park is the most modern marina on the Polish Baltic coast. We are convinced that the opening of Marina Yacht Park will contribute to the development of Gdynia’s city center, and that in the future this district will become a thriving heart of the city,” said Marcin Mazurek, President of the Management Board of Polski Holding Nieruchomości S.A.
