Polski Holding Nieruchomości has signed a contract with Unibep for the construction of the second phase of Osiedle Olimpijczyk, a housing estate in Łódź in the Polesie district. The general contractor, which was selected in a tendering procedure, has successfully completed the first phase of the project. 132 apartments will be handed over in the first quarter of 2025.
The new residential project is a continuation of Osiedle Olimpijczyk, a housing estate located at ul. Janusza Kusocińskiego 119 and 121. Its success in the first phase encouraged PHN to develop the project based on the company’s land assets, keeping to high urban design standards. PHN will release the construction site to the general contractor in the coming days. The second phase of Osiedle Olimpijczyk is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2025.
“Referring to the name of our project, we can say that we are starting the second lap, the second phase of Osiedle Olimpijczyk. Thanks to its excellent location and high quality workmanship in the first phase, 166 apartments found buyers within a short timeframe. Already today, even before the start of construction and sales, nearly 20 apartments have been reserved by people who appreciate the high-quality construction of the first phase. This is the best showcase of our cooperation with Unibep, and I am excited about building the second phase together”, said Szczepan Barszczewski, Vice President for Investment Projects at Polski Holding Nieruchomości.
The new phase of the Osiedle Olimpijczyk project, which is now being launched, will include two 6-storey residential buildings of simple and elegant design, with detached garages and outdoor parking spaces. 132 apartments with functional and adaptable layouts have been planned. The average size will be 60 sqm and most units will have 3 or 4 rooms, being intended mainly for families with children. 120 storage rooms are also envisaged. Ground-floor apartments will have their own gardens, while the ones on upper floors will feature loggias and balconies. There will be a playground, a recreation zone and 32 bicycle parking spaces.
Osiedle Olimpijczyk lies 6 km away from the centre of Łódź. It has excellent transport links and is located in a quiet and green area, about 2 kilometres away from the Piłsudski Park, the largest historic park in Łódź, with a botanical garden, a zoo and a water park. Aside from the green areas, there is a broad selection of shops, including a shopping centre, as well as services, restaurants and fitness clubs.
