Polski Holding Nieruchomości S.A. has signed an agreement with the consortium of AGK Architekci AW Sp. z o.o. sp.k. and AGK Architekci GP Sp. z o.o. for the development of design documentation and architect’s supervision of the housing estate in Bydgoszcz.

The new project of the PHN Group is located at ul. Nakielska 53 in the Śródmieście district in Bydgoszcz, near the city center and green areas. The project will be a continuation of positive changes in the district related to supplementing the housing structure and revitalizing former industrial areas. The land purchased by PHN from Fabryka Obrabiarek do Drewna Sp. z o.o. is mostly undeveloped. Old factory buildings are located on the area near the Nakielska street.

The project assumes the construction of 710 apartments with a total usable area of 36,000 sq.m. The area of former production halls will also be occupied by service and retail facilities with a total usable area of 6,000 sq.m. Residents will be able to use the services of a bank, post office, restaurant or hairdresser’s.

“The works on initiating the project in Bydgoszcz are progressing rapidly.Despite difficult market situation caused by the pandemic, we consistently achieve our business goals and strengthen our position in the residential construction segment. Our project is being implemented in a very attractive area close to the city center, and perfectly fits into our development strategy in the largest Polish regional cities,” said Tomasz Górnicki, Vice-President for Investment, Polski Holding Nieruchomości.

“The housing estate will include numerous service facilities for its residents, and will contribute to the growth of Bydgoszcz through the development of post-industrial areas located close to the city center,” added Tomasz Górnicki.

The residential construction segment is becoming an increasingly important part of PHN Group’s investment operations. In addition to the housing estate at ul. Nakielska in Bydgoszcz, the PHN Group is also implementing residential projects in Warsaw, Łódź and Gdynia. In September, the company signed a contract with Unibep S.A. for the construction of the Olimpijczyk housing estate at ul. Kusocińskiego in Łódź. In the first stage of the project, two buildings with a total usable area of 8,400 sq.m. will be built, which will include 166 apartments.

This year, the company completed the sale of apartments as part of the second stage of the VIS À VIS WOLA estate located in Warsaw’s Wola district, and the sale of apartments in the Yacht Park apartment complex in Gdynia. It is also preparing yet another residential project — Młoda Białołęka in Warsaw’s Białołęka district.
