Polski Holding Nieruchomości and Enea Announce Collaboration

Friday, September 9, 2016 (All day)

Polski Holding Nieruchomości and Enea have announced a partnership under which Enea will sell electricity to properties being part of the Polski Holding Nieruchomości Group. The partnership will bring benefits to both parties: Polski Holding Nieruchomości will be able to purchase electricity at lower rates, and Enea will acquire a large and reliable client. The companies signed their agreement at the Polish National Foundation pavilion during the Economic Forum in Krynica.

In an effort to optimize costs, Polski Holding Nieruchomości launched a tender procedure to select the seller of electricity for properties owned or managed by the Polski Holding Nieruchomości Group. The most advantageous bid selected as a result of the procedure was the one submitted by Enea.

The companies signed an electricity sale contract for a term of more than three years, i.e. until December 31, 2019. The document was signed at the Polish National Foundation pavilion during the Economic Forum in Krynica. Polski Holding Nieruchomości and Enea are among the 17 largest Polish companies that sponsor the Foundation.

“We are delighted that, as a result of the tender procedure, we will be able to partner with Enea. We estimate that by switching the electricity seller for properties being part of the Polski Holding Nieruchomości Group, we will be able to achieve aggregate savings of approximately PLN 5.5 million during the term of the contract. At the same time, we are establishing a collaboration with another company jointly owned by the Treasury, whose bid was subject to the same evaluation as any other and proved to be the most advantageous economically,” said Maciej Jankiewicz, President of the Management Board of Polski Holding Nieruchomości.

“We have acquired a long-term, reliable corporate client with great potential. The fact that our bid was selected proves that our ongoing commitment to improving efficiency and optimizing the sales process is delivering the expected results, and that we are able to offer compelling prices to our partners, backed by high standards and quality of service,” said Mirosław Kowalik, President of Enea.

“I believe that the agreement we have signed will bring our businesses closer together, and will provide a stimulus to collaborate in other areas and pursue joint initiatives in such fields as energy efficiency, which may bring further benefits to both companies,” he added.

Electricity will be supplied by Enea to more than 500 points of delivery located on properties being part of the Polski Holding Nieruchomości Group.
